Where Is Xur Today? (February 17-21) - Destiny 2 Exotic Items And Xur Location Guide

Destiny 2's Lightfall era officially kicks off in less than two weeks, but right now, you can still take part in the weekly tradition of seeing what Xur has for sale. As usual, the intergalactic arms dealer is back and ready to offer his finest Exotic wares to any Guardian who has enough Legendary Shards to pay for them. Here's where you can find Xur this weekend and what the Agent of the Nine has for sale.

This week you can find Xur in the Tower, inside the Hangar. For his weapon, Xur is offering The Queenbreaker; Hunters can pick up Young Ahamkara's Spine gauntlets; Titans can grab the Eternal Warrior helmet; and for Warlocks, Xur has the Wings of Sacred Dawn armor.

Xur Location

Spawn in using the Courtyard transmat zone in the Tower to find Xur this week. Head left and down the stairs to enter the Hangar section, then hang another left. Make your way to the north end of the area and look for a staircase that will take you onto a catwalk, where Xur is waiting.

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher's Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.

The Queenbreaker

With linear fusion rifles getting a substantial nerf soon, The Queenbreaker is a hard sell. For now, it's still a great weapon that delivers precision damage, and the ability to blind enemies with a successful attack does come in handy. There are better options for Arc weapons in your heavy slot though, like the Thunderlord machine gun, and there are other Legendary-class linear rifles that synergize well with arc loadouts, freeing you up to equip an Exotic weapon elsewhere on your Guardian.

Dead Man's Tale

This week's roll of the cowboy-styled scout rifle has a pretty decent set of PvE perks. Flared Magwell makes reloading quicker, while Vorpal Weapon gives you extra damage against bosses, vehicles, Guardians with an active Super. Combined with Hand-Laid Stock and Smallbore, and it's a fairly stable build that's worth looking at.

Hawkmoon

Hawkmoon has had a fairly predictable couple of weeks when Xur offers the hand cannon, and this version of the Exotic revolver is no different. Eye of the Storm can be useful if you're soaking up damage as it boosts accuracy and handling the lower your health gets, but Alloy Magazine, Smooth Grip, and Hammer-Forged Rifling are perks that we've seen multiple times over the last couple of weeks. It's not an essential version of Hawkmoon to pick up this week, but if you've yet to add it to your collection, now is your chance to do so.

Exotic Armor

Young Ahamkara's Spine

Almost every Exotic gauntlet works well with Hunter builds that bring out the best of their subclass, and with Young Ahamkara's Spine, these spooky vambraces will increase your tripmine grenade duration and blast radius. Additionally, ability damage grants extra grenade energy, so this armor works well with sneaky hunters who like to lay traps for their opponents. Throw on some armor mods that boost ability regen when you take out enemies with grenades, and this Exotic comes in very handy when you're being pursued by aggressive enemies. It is worth noting that this version has very low Mobility stats, if that factors into your build strategy.

Eternal Warrior

The main draw of Eternal Warrior is that it'll grant your Titan an overshield when their Fists of Havoc Super is active. It's a simple but deadly perk, making an already devastating Super that much more deadly. In PvP you can benefit from extra survivability as you close the gap, and this Exotic has a well-balanced spread of stats overall.

Wings of Sacred Dawn

Airborne effectiveness has been a controversial topic in Destiny 2, but at least Warlocks have a solution to that issue with this Exotic armor. With Dawnblade and this Exotic equipped, airborne Warlocks will be suspended in midair for a few seconds and gain improved airborne accuracy, reducing incoming flinch, damage resistance. Weapon hits extend the duration, and all of your weapons will gain a large airborne effectiveness buff as a passive bonus.
