What's New To Amazon Prime Video In December 2019? Movies, TV, And Original Shows

December is almost here, and that means the latest list for next month's streaming services have already arrived. We've already seen what's coming down the line for Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Shudder, and now, Amazon Prime Video's list is here. Unlike the previous months, there won't be as many NFL games for you to check out. Don't worry though, as there are a few original series you may want to watch.

The biggest arrival for December is the Amazon original series The Expanse. Season 4 hits the service on December 13, and the sci-fi series will take viewers to new planets with new characters. Back in October, we got an early look at Episode 1 of the new season, and you can read our thoughts about it here.

December 1 is when the bulk of Amazon's content drops. 15 movies arrive, including Almost Famous, Footloose, Hancock, The Aviator, and more. However, December 13 is the day you should look forward to as the incredibly fun Bumblebee arrives that day. In his review of Bumblebee, Michael Rougeau said, "Bumblebee hits a perfect tone with a great mix of action, humor, and heart. The soundtrack strikes all the right chords, the action is mostly clear and easy to follow even when two massive robots are rapidly grappling and transforming into various forms, and the characters are instantly relatable, without screenwriter Christina Hodson relying too much on cliches."

As for Thursday Night Football, there are two games streaming live in December. On December 5, my two favorite teams play each other: the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears. And on December 12, the New York Jets take on the Baltimore Ravens.
