Our Street Fighter X Tekken tournament at London Comic-Con pulled in some heavyweight street brawlers, but for those who wanted to wield sharper weapons when facing up to their opponents, SoulCalibur V was the way forward.

First up on the GameSpot stage, the guys from Namco Bandai showed off the latest addition to the game's character roster: Italian assassin extraordinaire, Ezio. His moveset, put to work against a defenceless Maxi, included some impressive sword flourishes and deft use of his concealed blades and pistols.

When Maxi is allowed to strike back, it's an entirely different story. Round after round, Maxi exchanges blows with expert skill, taking out the Italian swordmaster with ease. You might have some sweet tricks, Ezio, but player skill caught you out this time.

However, Maxi is out of luck when he faces up to new fighter Pyrrha. Despite a lucky second round, Maxi was torn to shreds by his sword-and-shield-wielding opponent.

Facing up against Leixia, Pyrrha proves she's not a girl to mess with. Fight one is painful to watch, with Pyrrha laying on blow after blow, giving no chance to her opponent. Despite a valiant defence in battle three, Leixia is forced to succumb.

Pyrrha proved an exceptionally popular choice at MCM, stealing victory after victory. But if one person could pull her down, it would be her brother, Patroklos. Would sibling rivalry be the downfall of our favorite champion? Watch the video and find out for yourself.

If you thought Ezio was the only impeccably dressed swordsman in our MCM Expo arena, you were wrong. Check out the dashing Raphael exchanging some blows with Hilde in this gameplay video.
