We Might Already Know Death Stranding 2's Official Title

We might already know the official title for Hideo Kojima's upcoming game, Death Stranding 2. Additionally, it could be revealed in the upcoming weeks.

The website Dealabs claimed that the official title for the game is Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. This indicates that the game may take place mostly at sea as opposed to the land-trekking affair of the first. When Death Stranding 2 was first revealed, the trailer showed main characters Sam Porter Bridges and Fragile in a giant ship at sea.

Dealabs also reported that another announcement about the game is coming soon. While the site wasn't able to lock down exactly when it'll happen, it claimed that it will occur within the next 15 days. GiantBomb's Jeff Grubb recently claimed that Sony will hold another State of Play presentation soon, but Dealabs isn't certain whether Death Stranding 2 will make an appearance there.

Death Stranding 2 is in development for PlayStation 5. While Sony has also been releasing its games on PC, it's currently unknown whether Death Stranding 2 will be released on the platform simultaneously with PS5.

Kojima is also developing a game for Microsoft and Xbox called OD, which was revealed at The Game Awards 2023.
