Watch Tomb Raider Actress Throw First Pitch at MLB Game

Camilla Luddington bounces it home.

Tomb Raider actress Camilla Luddington threw out the first pitch at last night's Los Angeles Angels-Seattle Mariners game. Standing from the base of the mound, Luddington bounced the pitch in to Angels outfielder Shane Robinson, but it was pretty much on-line. 50 Cent did a lot worse.

Luddington took it all in stride, writing in her Instagram caption, "They told me if I bounced it once it would be awesome so i figured if I bounced it like 40 times it must be amazinggggg.." Here's the video:

The crowd looks pretty sparse at Angel Stadium, which might come down to the fact that the Angels are a full 23 games out of first place in the AL West and 16 games back for a Wild Card spot. With only a few weeks left in the season, it's not looking good for the Angels to make the playoffs. They lost last night, 2-1.

Before taking on the role of Lara Croft for 2013's Tomb Raider reboot, Luddington appeared in TV shows like Californication and Grey's Anatomy.

She most recently played Croft in 2015's Rise of the Tomb Raider. A follow-up to that game has not been announced. However, Square Enix has strongly suggested one is coming, as an executive said the storyline that began with 2013's Tomb Raider reboot will be told across a trilogy.

Crystal Dynamics recently hired Electronic Arts veteran Ian Milham to be a game director on the Tomb Raider franchise, which is another strong indication that another game is coming.
