Bandai Namco has released a new story trailer for its upcoming fighting game, One Piece: Burning Blood, which is based off the popular pirate-themed manga and anime series, One Piece. The trailer features the Marineford arc from the story.

The video showcases gameplay footage with combat from the admirals, pirates, and the Seven Warlords of the Sea (Shichibukai) featured. Players will be able to experience the arc from the three different perspectives. Blackbeard also appears in the trailer, who Bandai Namco has confirmed will be a playable character.

One Piece: Burning Blood is being developed by Spike Chunsoft, who also worked on the J-Stars Victory VS+ fighting game. The game is scheduled to release for PS4, Xbox One, and PS Vita on May 31 in North America, and June 3 in Europe. The game will launch worldwide for PC via Steam some time in June this year.

In December last year Bandai Namco announced a Marineford Edition (only 5,000 units) of the game that comes with two figures (Whitebeard and his grave) and an artbook. Players who preorder Burning Blood on PS4 and Xbox One can pick up bonuses which include DLC like Gear 4th Luffy, as well other items to be announced later.
