[UPDATE] The stream has now ended. Here's a recap of the big talking points.

The original story is below.

Destiny is getting a big update in April that introduces, among other things, new PvE content. Developer Bungie hasn't provided any specifics just yet about what fans can expect, but it looks like that will change today. As announced previously, the developer is holding a livestream event today at 11 AM PST / 2 PM EST, where it will showcase a "preview of the new challenges you'll face."

This broadcast, the first of three related to April's update, is titled "New Things to Do." Lead designer Ryan Paradis and senior designer Tim Williams will appear on the broadcast to "share a glimpse of their recent work." You'll be able to watch the entire presentation through the Twitch embed above.

Destiny's spring update launches on April 12. It comes with the bespoke PvE challenges, new and updated gear, and a new quest featuring the Blighted Chalice Strike, among other things. Players can also expect to see an increase to their maximum Light and rewards, as well as updates to the Sandbox and Crucible.

Two further livestreams will follow. The specifics are printed below.
