Polish developer Techland (Dead Island) on Monday released the launch trailer for open-world zombie game Dying Light. The game officially launches tomorrow, January 27, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Versions of the game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 were originally planned, but have since been canceled.
Dying Light follows an undercover operative named Kyle Crane who is set to an quarantine zone to locate the a missing military official. Obviously, things go poorly and you'll need to fight to survive.
One of the game's standout features is its parkour-style movement, which lets you traverse the city with speed and grace (if you can pull it off). Dying Light also features a day/night cycle--forage for supplies during the day with (relative ease), and then square off against zombies at night.
Dying Light's "Be the Zombies" mode, which was first announced as a preorder bonus, will now be available to everyone for free. In addition, Techland recently confirmed that the disc-based version of the game has been delayed to late February, though the digital editions are still launching this week.
