On topic, game looks great, still debating to pick it up right away or later on. Regardless though, i'm still getting this, loved the Civ franchise.

Well, now in most of the games Indians are shown. drive club, farcry4 now this.

Almost made me want the game, almost.

Like most things about this game, the intro is so dumb. They overlook so much that Alpha Centauri didn't. Namely, you expect me to believe that any ship meant for interstellar travel is going to be built on the Earth. Has no one at Firaxis played Kerbal Space Program? Those civilisations with dwindling resources are going to put a colony ship with all that tonnage into space? Also, they're going to just put her into cryo-stasis with her clothes she arrived in? I mean, we can assume they would be providing some of the things they need to survive, like extra-clothes, after all, no one had a suitcase.

It's pretty obvious why they keep saying this game isn't a successor to Alpha Centauri. Because when compared to a game that came out in 1999, this game does not come out favourably.

Great idea but at the same time it saddens me that people have to mess up Earth so badly that the only hope is to find another similar even not as perfect planet as Earth to extend the human race. My first play through will be based on Harmony affinity.

Any day spent playing a Civ game is a day well-spent.

That was a pretty cool trailer, as long as they fixed up the pitiful AI then I will definitely buy this. I just don't like having my allies denounce and declare war on me after I come to their aid due to a defensive pact, it doesn't make sense.
