Warhaven Gets Medieval On Your Class In New Summer Game Fest Trailer
The game's next demo will be available during Steam Next Fest.
A new trailer has gone life for Warhaven, the upcoming free-to-play PVP medieval fantasy combat game. Revealed during Summer Game Fest, this new teaser for the game shows off more of its 16v16 objective-based battles that are waged between two factions, all to the tune of Tribal Blood's "Keep on Fighting" song.
Developed by Nexon Korea, Warhaven takes place in the world of Herarth, and is currently scheduled to be released in Fall 2023 via Steam's early access program. The gameplay footage in the video above provides a quick look at some of the characters that you'll be able to play as, including soldiers and Immortals. Each character has unique abilities that can be used in battle, and when magical powers aren't enough, you can always fall back to some good old-fashioned melee options like swords, maces, spears, and shields.
This slice of gameplay also includes a sneak peek at Hush, a nimble assassin who specializes in disrupting the strategies of enemies and wasn't playable during the October 2022 global open beta. For the next available hands-on session with the game, Nexon says that a new demo will be available during Steam Next Fest from June 19-26 and that this version will feature increased movement and combat speeds so that the gameplay is more exciting.
Players can also look forward to a new capture mode and map, Sihan, which features a volcanic landscape, in the future. More details on Warhaven will be revealed during the Future Games Show on June 10 and at the PC Gaming Show on June 11.
