Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Set To Release September 2024, Gets New Trailer At The Game Awards

Sabre Interactive and Focus Interactive brought a new trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 to The Game Awards, giving us our latest look at one of the most-anticipated Warhammer games of all time. We also finally have a release date: September 9, 2024.

"We are thrilled to finally reveal the release date for Space Marine 2," Saber Interactive COO Tim Willits said in a press release. "The entire team has poured their passion and creativity into this game, and we can't wait for players to experience it at last. It's been an incredible journey, and we're excited to share the fruits of our labor with players and the Warhammer 40,000 community."

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 comes well over a decade since the launch of the previous game. The hybrid action-slasher third-person shooter once again stars Titus, this time working against an overwhelming horde of Tyranids using all manner of firearms and melee attacks. It's one of several Warhammer 40,000 games making waves as of late, with 2023 seeing the launch of the first-person shooter Boltgun as well as the CRPG Rogue Trader.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will release for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.
