Warcraft III demo released

Blizzard has released the 2898279promised demo of Warcraft III. The 98MB demo includes three single-player missions that chronicle the orcs' voyage to Kalimdor, and it also has Battle.net multiplayer support. The Battle.net support is limited to a new one-on-one map, and players can only choose to play as the orcs.

Blizzard also recently released a Warcraft III demo disc through a promotion with AMC theaters, and that version of the demo also includes three new multiplayer maps that can be used with the retail version of Warcraft III to play custom games on Battle.net. We've included these maps as a separate file below.
