Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution coming to PS2

Sega of Japan announces a PlayStation 2 version of the latest Virtua Fighter arcade game.

Sega has revealed plans to bring Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution to the PlayStation 2 in Japan. Evolution, which makes some significant additions to Virtua Fighter 4, has already been out in arcades in Japan for several months. Not only does Evolution add two new characters--Muay Thai kickboxer Brad Burns and judo fighter Goh Hinogami--but it also refreshes Virtua Fighter 4's graphics, changes some of the moves for existing characters, and adds a mission mode. The PlayStation 2 version of the game is scheduled to be released in March 2003 in Japan. There's no word on whether it will be released in the US.
