Vietcong single-player demo released

A new single-player demo of Gathering of Developers' and Pterodon's Vietnam-inspired shooter has been released.

Gathering has released a single-player demo of its Vietnam War-inspired first-person shooter, Vietcong. The 100MB demo features the Crash in the Jungle mission from the full game, where players will lead a small squad of soldiers on a rescue mission deep in the jungles of Vietnam. GameSpot Complete users can download the demo from the link below.

Vietcong is a recently released first-person shooter based on the Vietnam War that was developed by Pterodon, a development company based in Czechoslovakia. Players assume the role of Sergeant Steve Hawkins, a green recruit added to the ranks of the US Special Forces on the front lines of Vietnam. Over the course of the campaign, players will explore jungles, cross rivers, and crawl through underground tunnel networks to fight the Vietcong.
