Until Dawn Remake Confirmed, Coming To PS5 And PC This Year

A remake of the slasher game is in the works, and it's coming soon-ish.

The rumors were right: Sony is developing an Until Dawn remake. The new version of Until Dawn has been "rebuilt and enhanced," and it's coming to PS5 and PC this year. Sony announced the game during its 2024 State of Play broadcast.

No further details were announced, but it was confirmed that developer Ballistic Moon is handling development. Supermassive Games made the 2015 original. Check out the trailer below to see the first footage of Until Dawn for PS5 and PC.

Until Dawn is a horror game featuring a branching storyline system that allows the game to have a multitude of different story possibilities and endings. It featured Hollywood actors like Rami Malek, Hayden Panettiere, and Peter Stormare, among others.

The game was written by Larry Fessenden and Graham Reznick, taking inspiration from iconic horror and slasher movies.

Not only is Until Dawn getting a remake, but a movie is being made based on the game with a famous director attached.
