@gopre: Wikipedia says it is the "last entry in the Uncharted series featuring the character of Nathan Drake". I see a possibility of continuity sans Nate

Both look like top notch games to me, and i like both series a lot... I'm just happy AAA third person action adventure games like this are being made, and being made well.

Nate's escape from the burning car definitely looked a little inspired by tomb raider with the short depth of focus and claustrophobic sort of thing.

@Johny_47: On rails maybe, but there's a lot to be said for a good linear adventure. They can offer the kinds of thrills and jaw dropping moments that more open ended games just can't, even if replayability suffers as a result.

Personally i've enjoyed all three Uncharteds. Tomb Raider and TLOU were fantastic too.

That looks like pure enjoyment to me, sorry to see someone who once liked FF go to the dark side of cynical, jaded gamers, lol.

Part of what made FF so good to me, and what UC has always done exactly right, is strike that perfect balance between realistic physics and arcade-exaggerated fun.

Sure some of those sections were a bit on rails, but it also definitely had sections that were open and just linear... and to do all the amazing little touches, moments, and presentational aspects they have on display in this one little 10 minute section of the game... Im sorry, but IMO this is just masterful.
