UK Chart: GTAV becomes fastest selling game ever in UK

@iampenguin The next-gen sales figures won't get anywhere near the current gen sales figures.

The 360 and PS3 have sold a combined total of over 160 million consoles.

Even if they are a run away success, it will be a long time before next-gen get to that level of sales. It simply won't be possible in terms of the size of the potential market.

Not to mention that a fair number of people simply won't bother upgrading to a next-gen version if they've already played out their current-gen version by the time it is a possible purchase option....

@WheelerJared Yea I know what you mean I sort of took a break on kh chain of memories I will be getting back to it this week though. Just be warned it is hard to break from GTAv at least for me.

i doubt it. GTA, like COD, appeals to people outside of core gaming. Watchdogs won't have that mass appeal.

Watch Dogs ? Really ? Not many out of the hardcore gaming crowd know about it.

@hishamramzan It may well replace it as number one, but I don't think Watchdogs will be anywhere near as successful as GTA V.

@EasyComeEasyGo I still don't like how the character controls stiffly grrr hated it in red dead redemption and it's still the same in gta 5 :(. the shooting still bad also

@EasyComeEasyGo The camera isn't wobbly in planes, its turbulence they've introduced and I actually like this feature. Makes it more interesting to fly. I think the lack of interiors is definitely a disappointment but it sounds like they're saving a lot of that for GTA Online.
