Earlier this year, Ubisoft released content updates for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 with the Throwback Pack 1 and Throwback Pack 2 on Xbox Live. Today, the publisher confirmed that its modern-day tactical shooter is in for a third map pack update with the Co-Op Collection, which will add nine more competitive maps and five new cooperative missions. The Co-Op Collection will be available for Xbox 360 owners in "late October to early November."

As with the Throwback Packs, the Co-Op Collection will include seven remastered maps from previous Ghost Recon iterations for competitive play. These include Caves, Castle, Railroad Bridge, and Battlefield from the original Ghost Recon, as well as Plantation, Swamp Airfield, and Prison from Island Thunder. The Co-Op Collection also adds two new maps: Business Park, defined by its alleyways and open courtyards, and Rooftop, which takes place at the top of a high-rise.

In addition to being competitive arenas, the Caves, Railroad Bridge, Battlefield, Plantation, and Swamp Airfield will be the site of the Co-Op Collection's new cooperative missions. According to Ubisoft, the new missions will be a continuation of GRAW 2's storyline.

The Co-Op Collection will also add in 125 new achievement points. The downloadable content update has not yet been priced. GameSpot's previous coverage has more on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2.
