Ubi.com launches

Ubi Soft has announced the launch of its new gaming portal, Ubi.com. The Web site currently lets players participate in online communities and online PC games such as Rogue Spear: Black Thorn, Conquest: Frontier Wars, and Conflict Zone, but it will expand in the future to include upcoming network games for Internet-enabled console platforms.

"Ubi.com will give fans the ultimate community experience," said Kurtis Buckmaster, director of community development for Ubi.com and former webmaster for the official Sony PlayStation Web site. "Games typically attract unique communities of players, and Ubi.com was built from the ground up to support the needs of those players and is packed with exclusive news, hints, events, and more."

Ubi.com was launched in North America and France and will eventually expand to other countries.
