Tuesday: Crime and Car Chases in Sub Rosa
Developer Alex Austin lays down the basics of Sub Rosa: a dynamic, high-stakes crime game where deceit and betrayal are constant companions.
Sub Rosa is a game of crime, betrayal, and high-speed car chases. One team has a special disk; the other has cash to exchange for that disk. In a perfect world, the two sides would meet, exchange, and be on their merry way--but things rarely work out so neatly. Sometimes greed takes hold, and other times a third team shows up looking to collect both items. Ultimately, it's a setup that can lead to some desperate (and hilarious) chases, such as the one in the demo with creator Alex Austin below:
