Trek vet joins MMOG staff

Perpetual Entertainment today announced that its voyage to develop a massively multiplayer online game based on the Star Trek franchise has been joined by a veteran of the Trek television series. Andrew Probert, senior illustrator for the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation, is now officially on board with Star Trek Online as a design consultant. Probert's previous ship designs include the Ferengi Marauder, the Romulan Warbird, and the Airwolf (the helicopter from the unrelated TV series Airwolf). He will be working on creating new deck layouts and interiors for Galaxy-class starships in the game.
