Transformers Universe Shutting Down

I was expecting to be happen sooner or later since their content was not much attractive which focused on pvp rather than pve content since balance was not there to begin with. Anyways, It was satisfactory experience overall since I joined from closed beta as well.

Please if you guys would like to try to keep this game going sign the petition. There are many people who did not get to even try the game as you can see in the comments. If you want to continue playing it or want to play because you never got the chance let's at least try and save it.

You cant just make a Generic game call it an mmo and slap a Big License name on it...Try again Hasbro...let a real development team take a shot at making a Transformers MMO and do it right next time!

And nobody shred tears on it, game did not came out from beta even because it was awful.

This probably isn't surprising I'm not sure a lot of ppl were aware this game was up and running I was aware of it when it was announced i just wasn't aware it had been released.

Well... THAT didn't last long.

Seriously, the whole Transformers franchise has been run into the ground with some really stupid decisions. Having grown up with the G-1 series and loving it, it's a sad thing to behold. What's even more sad is that this MMO was never even on my radar screen. All I can do is shrug and remember how great Transformers used to be.

lol, I didn't even know this game was actually up and running! I Swear I passed over some tid-bit a couple years ago (maybe?) about some TransFormers MMO... but honestly I thought it never came about or died before release. Hell even as I starting to read this article, I was reading it as though the game hadn't even made it out of developments or testing. But judging by the responses from other gamers here, I am not the only one who didn't even know this game existed. I guess we know why they are shutting it down.

Just thinking... If anyone ever watched beast wars wouldn't a RPG be pretty cool, playing thru the seasons of that. have your own custom character to either fight on the maximals, and predacons, and you go thru that story. I would play the $hit out of that.

As someone who has actually played this I am shocked that they are dropping it so soon. Like Runescape they've done virtually nothing to advertise it this year so if they are lacking players that is the reason. As I can see from the comments virtually noone knew you could play the beta.

I didnt have a lot of time with this game but from what I played it was actually pretty good and responsive considering the amount of action going on. Every other MMO i've played always seems to suffer from that half second delay (Runescape especially) after clicking or trying to do an action.

A real shame they didnt push forward with this more, although it did focus a lot on microtransactions which could have been the reason to drop it. Now that the games industry knows everyone hates freemium games

To be fair the game looked like garbage from the start.....

I like the Transformers and all but IDK, to me it kinda feels like a crappy time to be a TF fan.....what with Bay releasing trash movies, games coming out that are trash.....imagine if WFC and FOC was done by a better dev team and publisher like maybe the guys who do the Mafia games....at least then you know the story would be good and they'd bust their asses to make a fun game....I thought WFC was okay but nothing special, definitely some BS parts made it a bitch to play though like the entire Autobot campaign good gods....

Yeah, that mobile game Transformers: Battle Tactics is definitely a step in the right direction, lol. Why let High Moon Studios set up High (Moon) standards when you can make a mobile F2P game? Hasbro shows the same brilliant thinking here that Games Workshop do with the Warhammer franchise, I can't wait to see what kind of other projects they both are up to.

Seems a waste considering the amount of work that went into the game, surely the game could be salvaged and handled to the developers who worked on War For/Fall Of Cybertron, maybe they could turn the game into a proper sequel to Fall Of Cybertron, unlike that movie junk that came out to coincide with the recent Bay movie. Just seems such a waste.
