After a lengthy hiatus, TopSpin is officially stepping back onto the tennis court. TopSpin 2K25 is heading to PS5, PS4, Xbox, and PC next Friday, April 26, ending its 13-year retirement and serving as the first new TopSpin game since 2011. TopSpin 2K25 preorders are available now at major retailers, including Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy, and there are three different editions up for grabs. Xbox Series X (and Xbox One) players can save $10 on preorders at Walmart. This deal sold out at Amazon, so you shouldn't wait long if interested.

Tennis sims from multiple different publishers used to release often, but the sport has been a bit neglected in the video game space in recent years, much like golf was before the The Golf Club (now branded as PGA 2K) and, more recently, EA Sports stepped back onto the links.

Roger Federer and Serena Williams are the cover athletes for the upcoming title. You'll get to play on 48 courts, work through a lengthy MyPlayer mode, and enjoy both online and local multiplayer.

Hopefully TopSpin 2K25 will mark a triumphant return for tennis sims. The prospect of a tennis career mode in the 2K Sports framework sounds pretty cool. TopSpin 2K25 includes all four Grand Slam tournaments, which is a big plus. Though you can create your own player, you'll also be able to step onto the hard-court (or clay or grass) as 24 different real-life pros. 15 of the 48 courts are recreations of popular venues, and the tennis great John McEnroe is lending his voice to the training mode.

Let's take a look at what you get with each edition of TopSpin 2K25.

All preorders include the Serena Williams Alternate Outfit, Roger Federer Alternate Outfit, Wilson Nightfall Bundle, and Night-time Majors. There don't appear to be any retailer-specific bonuses, but that could change as we get closer to launch.
