Top 10 UK Sales Chart: Skyrim and Titanfall 2 Unable to Topple Battlefield 1
Titanfall 2 fails to reach top spot like its predecessor; Skyrim debuts in second place.
In its second week since release, EA and DICE's Battlefield 1 is the number one selling game on the UK sales chart. Sales did not drop off as significantly as they did for Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 in their second week, according to sales monitor Chart-Track.
Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition made its debut at No.2. Despite not being able to claim the top spot, sales of the upgraded version of Skyrim were strong. According to Chart Track, it enjoyed the second best debut week sales in the Elder Scrolls series, behind the original release of Skyrim.
EA's Titanfall 2 reaches No.4 in its first week on sale. The first game in the series debuted at No.1, but the follow-up has not been able to replicate this performance, despite being available for more platforms than the original.
The other new entries for the week ending October 29 are Farming Simulator 17, which arrives a No.5, and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 at No.7. World of Final Fantasy narrowly misses out on a top ten placement, finishing the week at No.11.
