The eight skaters include: Lizzie Armanto, Leo Baker, Leticia Bufoni, Riley Hawk, Nyjah Huston, Tyshawn Jones, Aori Nishimura, and Shane O'Neill. They join the previously announced roster of skaters from the 1999 and 2000 original games.

Some of the newly announced skaters were featured in previous Pro Skater games, such as Hawk's son Riley, but this is the first time they're appearing as playable skaters in the first two games.

"The world-class pro skaters we're adding to this remaster took the tricks and combos from the video game and made them possible in real life," Activision marketing boss Michelle Bresaw said in a press release. "We're proud that the remaster will represent the skate culture landscape today with a diverse roster of skaters that will appeal to any gamer."

The Pro Skater 1 + 2 remaster package launches on September 4 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Everyone who pre-orders will receive access to a demo featuring the iconic Warehouse level starting August 14.

In other news about skateboarding games, EA has announced Skate 4--but it's not coming anytime soon.
