Titles announced for Games Japan Festa 2006

While Japan's Kanto region has the Tokyo Game Show, those living in the Kansai region have the Games Japan Festa, sponsored by the Video Game Commercial Association of Japan. Although much smaller than TGS--last year's Festa attracted fewer than 10,000 attendees--this Osaka-based event has seen steady growth since its first annual show in 2002.

The Festa's main focus has always been playable demos of new and upcoming games, and this year is no exception. Today a preliminary list of games to be exhibited was published on the event's official Web page. Some highlights follow.

The Games Japan Festa 2006 will be held November 11 and 12 in the Asia Pacific Trade Center in Osaka.
