Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 teeing up on Mac, PC
EA Sports' latest golf sim bringing The Masters to new gaming crowds on September 6; three-month membership to Tiger Woods Online included with $40 game.
The well-received Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters sold over 225,000 units in its first week across the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii, making it the fastest-selling franchise entry in the series to date. Today, EA Sports has announced that consoles won't be the only place to play the game come September 6, when the golfing sim arrives for the PC and Mac.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters for the PC and Mac includes most of the features found in its console counterpart. Additionally, gamers who pick up the golfing sim for the PC or Mac will earn a three-month membership to browser-based spin-off Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online.
As for the game, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters is the first entry in the series to include the famed Augusta National golf course, home of the revered Masters tournament. The game lets players relive memorable shots from the Masters' storied history, including Woods' four Green Jacket wins at the tournament.
