THQ has announced that it has reached a publishing agreement to release several of Majesco's Game Boy Advance games in the European and the Asia-Pacific territories. The games to be released under the agreement include Earthworm Jim, Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure, Iridion 3D, Fortress, Caesar's Palace, Dark Arena, M&M's Fun Blast, Aerial Aces, and F-14 Tomcat, as well as a new title to be announced at a later date.

"The addition of these great games from Majesco expands our Game Boy Advance portfolio to more than 25 titles for 2001," said Tim Walsh, senior vice president of International Publishing for THQ. "Handheld gaming is one of the most exciting areas of growth in the industry, and we intend to extend our leading position on Game Boy Color to the hot, new Game Boy Advance."

"Our strategic partnership with THQ underscores our continued growth and expansion as a publisher," said Jesse Sutton, president of Majesco. "The universal appeal of these titles will certainly reinforce THQ's already formidable lineup, while providing us with critical exposure in the European and Asian marketplace."

All of the games are scheduled for release this year.
