Classic EA Games Are Dirt-Cheap At Amazon Digital
You can get the entire Dead Space franchise for under $20.
While not usually known for its PC deals, Amazon sometimes offers steep discounts on PC games from EA, and the store is currently having a major sale that includes survival-horror game Dead Space for just $2. For comparison, the game is currently full price ($20) on Steam. Plus, Dead Space 2 is available for just $5, and Dead Space 3 is $10.
The deals are available for both Instant Access and PC Download on Amazon--either way, you'll have to play it using EA's Origin launcher. Instant Access adds the game to your Origin account automatically (you'll have to link it to your Amazon account), while PC Download gives you the product key to redeem.
Released in 2008, the original Dead Space earned a 9/10 from GameSpot for its deeply engrossing story, strategic combat, and terrifying gameplay. "Dead Space is a remarkable game from a well-tread genre that manages to stand out from its competitors in almost every way, from visual presentation to engaging story, innovative combat mechanics to fright factor," wrote Lark Anderson in GameSpot's Dead Space review. "Whether you're looking for a terrifying horror experience or a deeply story-driven adventure that will keep you engaged for 15-20 hours, Dead Space is a fantastic game that you should not pass on."
Apart from the Dead Space franchise sale, you can also grab one of the best first-person shooters in recent years, Titanfall 2, for only $6. Plus, Dragon Age: Inquisition is down to $10, and Need for Speed Heat is on sale for $24.
