If you're in the market for a great GameCube-style controller, then Amazon has a deal for you.

Being stuck at home can suck, but the Switch has a lot of great games that can keep you busy. Some of these games work particularly well with a GameCube-style pad--like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Animal Crossing: New Horizons--and if you're a fan of the classic controller then Amazon has a great deal on the Fight Pad Pro for $20 or less.

PDP's wired Fight Pad Pro controllers feature the designs of different Smash Bros. Ultimate characters, and four of them are on sale right now. This includes versions for Princess Peach, Luigi, and Link for $20 as well as a Mario design for $18.79. Each controller is functionally identical apart from the colours and emblem.

The Fight Pad Pro mimics the GameCube's controller, while also featuring all of the buttons and functions of a Switch Pro Controller (except NFC/Amiibo support, rumble, and motion controls). It boasts longer hand grips, clickable analog sticks, and all four digital shoulder buttons--unlike the original GameCube controller, its L and R buttons are not analog. One of the Fight Pad Pro's key features is the ability to swap out the C-stick for a proper analog nub, making for a more traditional feel to the controller that works wonders with games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The Fight Pad Pro is one of the best Switch controllers we've tested, alongside a wireless GameCube-style pad, several Pro Controller alternatives, and a couple of fight sticks. And if you're looking for some games to play with your new controller, then Nintendo is currently holding a great Switch Eshop sale, with discounts on games like Diablo III: Eternal Collection, Mortal Kombat 11, and Spyro Reignited Trilogy.
