The Sorest of Losers

What do you get when you mix a defensive tackle and a suddenly disconnected PlayStation? One very angry Bear.

Have your parents ever pulled the plug on your game system right when you were in the middle of a game or about to save the princess? Well, if that's happened to you, you probably haven't felt quite like killing someone (or maybe you have, you sick, twisted bastard).

Thursday, a Lake County, Ill., judge found Chicago Bears defensive tackle Paul Grasmanis guilty of misdemeanor battery for choking and threatening to kill his wife.

Courtney Grasmanis claims that on the fateful day of Sept. 25, her husband refused to turn down the volume on the TV while he was playing a PlayStation game. She then disconnected the system and threatened to smash the TV with a nearby mop. He then smashed her jewelry box, and a fight ensued. Mrs. Grasmanis claims that after biting him, he put his hands around her neck and choked her. She fell to the floor when he stopped, telling her, "Give me a good reason why I shouldn't kill you right now."

Maybe Sony should change its PlayStation marketing slogan to "Just don't kill anyone over our system, OK?"
