The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power Expanded Soundtrack Limited To 1,000 Copies

If you watched The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and particularly enjoyed the music, you might be happy to learn Mondo is creating a special-edition complete soundtrack collection--and it's launching soon.

Created by Mondo in partnership with Amazon Studios and Sparks and Shadows, the $150 Rings of Power Complete Soundtrack Collection is an expanded version of the previously release CD soundtrack. This one comes with 10 CDs in a gold-embossed leatherette-bound slipcase.

It also includes a 136-page booklet called "A Composer's Journey" that features commentary and insights from composer Bear McCreary. The packaging design for the entire collection was done by Jordan Christianson.

Only 1,000 of these are being made, they each come numbered, and 200 of them will come with a card autographed by McCreary himself.

The Rings of Power Complete Soundtrack Collection releases April 26, 2024 through Mondo's online store and Amazon. Of note, the Amazon preorder page is not live yet, but might be soon, so keep checking back.

McCreary recorded the Rings of Power music at the iconic Abbey Road Studios, along with AIR Studios and the Synchron Stage.

"J.R.R. Tolkien's stunning novels and their film adaptations have had a profound impact on my imagination for nearly my entire life," McCreary said in promotional material for the album. "I am honored to compose the music that will help guide audiences through the major events of the Second Age of Middle-earth."
