The Epic Games Store Spring Sale Features Some Awesome Deals, Including Alan Wake 2

The Epic Games Store Spring Sale kicked off today, bringing big discounts to hundreds of PC games, plus special promos like bonus rewards and free game offers until March 28.

The Epic Games Store Spring Sale includes some of the best games of 2023 and even new 2024 releases. One of our favorites from last year, Alan Wake 2, is down to $40 (was $50), making this a great time to grab the acclaimed survival horror title. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is another easy recommendation, especially while it's on sale for just $30 (was $50). Not only is The Lost Crown one of the best metroidvanias of recent memory, it's also one of the best games of this year so far.

Another excellent metroidvania, Ultros, is also on sale in Epic's sale for $20 (normally $25). GameSpot reviewer Alessandro Barbosa scored Ultros an 8/10, saying that its psychedelic visuals, time-loop structure, and unique gameplay ideas elevate the game "beyond its Metroidvania underpinnings and help it stand out in the genre as something distinct."

Some other notable deals in the Epic Games Store Spring Sale include EA Sports FC 24 for $14 (was $70) and the open-world shooters Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora for $42 (was $70) and Dead Island 2 for $33 (was $60). You can also save big on gems like Inscryption, RoboCop: Rogue City, Ghost Runner 2, and more. While you can pick up tons of games for cheap during the sale, Epic is also giving away free games. And as usual, Epic is starting off with a bang. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and The Bridge are the first two free games you can grab now, and they will be available until March 21. After that, Call of the Wild: The Angler and Invincible Presents: Atom Eve will be the next pair of free downloads from March 21 until March 28. All free games you add to your Epic Games Store account are yours to keep and play forever.

Lastly, Epic is raising its Epic Rewards rate to 10% on all eligible purchases during the sale. All rewards points are immediately credited to your account's Rewards balance after completing your purchases. You can use your balance to buy other games, DLC, and apps on the Epic Games Store. Epic Rewards is a free program that all Epic Game Store accounts are automatically enrolled in.

The Epic Games Store Spring Sale 2024 runs until March 28 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET.
