The Division Daily Challenge Mode Missing After New Update, Returning Soon
Ultra-difficult option vanishes after latest patch, but thankfully for fans, it will return soon.
Another problem for The Division has emerged following the launch of the game's major April update this week. Not only are some players' characters vanishing after the update, but now, Ubisoft has confirmed that the game's new Daily Challenge mode is missing. Unfortunately for fans, it will not be restored today (April 13) and is instead coming back to the third-person shooter tomorrow, April 14.
We are aware of the missing Daily Challenge mode. While we won’t be able to fix it today, we can confirm that it will be back tomorrow

As its name suggests, The Division's Challenge Mode is an ultra-difficult version of an existing mission. Just recently, developers said the Challenge Mode for The Division's first Incursion, Falcon Lost, was so difficult that even they could not complete it. Challenge Mode for The Division's raid-like Incursions is a grade higher in terms of difficulty than for regular missions, according to Ubisoft.
The Division's 1.1 patch, the first major update to the game since launch in March, included a long list of new content and features, all of which you can see in the official patch notes here. The update itself is around 4.9GB on PlayStation 4 and is a similar size for Xbox One and PC.
Incursions is The Division's first free update; the next one is Conflicts, which comes out in May. Looking beyond that, paid expansions will follow further into the summer and beyond.
