The Division 2's Title Update 9.1 has been delayed, after Ubisoft previously planned to patch the game on May 12 following some maintenance downtime.

Ubisoft explained that it wants to do additional testing on the fixes and changes that Title Update 9.1 will introduce, which has pushed its deployment back. The post announcing the delay mentions that the plan is still to have the update ready for this week. The update now arrives after maintenance on May 14 at 12:30 AM PT / 3:30 AM ET and the full patch notes are available here.

Title Update 9.1 was primarily meant to tweak parameters around enemy accuracy and aggressiveness, making special mention of grenade issues that were the result of incorrect accuracy parameters that NPCs worked with. Ubisoft also noted that it wants to measure the effect of the patch on the Warhound Convoy XP exploit, which the studio says will feel less like a bug with their introduced changes.

The Division 2 is also experiencing ongoing connectivity issues, which Ubisoft is aware of. The studio has mentioned previously that it is unsure what the underlying cause is, and that a date for a comprehensive fix isn't confirmed yet.

The Division 2 is continuing to receive content and balancing updates following its launch in 2019. At the time we were impressed with the game's improvements and gunplay, with critic Edmond Tran writing in our 8/10 Division 2 review, "The ravaged environments continue to intrigue, and sometimes they're so stunning I find myself needing to take screenshots before I move on. It might not have much to say, but The Division 2 is a perpetual cycle of tension, relief, and reward that's difficult to stay away from."
