After a long wait, the full Tetris Effect soundtrack by composer Hydelic is finally available to purchase or stream. The game, which was recently released on Oculus Quest, is known for its extraordinary soundtrack--and now you can listen to all 40 songs of it, lasting 2 hours and 50 minutes.

The Tetris Effect soundtrack is available on Spotify and YouTube, or you can purchase it on Bandcamp for $10. Limited Run was stocking an LP of the soundtrack too, but it has sold out.

The full track list is here, from the pounding, rhythmic chanting of Flames, to the discordant jazzy piano of City Lights, to the beautiful final song of the game, Always Been but Never Dreamed. Although the soundtrack in-game reacts dynamically to how you play, they've been mixed for the soundtrack to sound pleasing to anyone not currently stacking blocks.

After giving some key tracks a quick lesson, I can confirm that the in-game mix of Connected (Yours Forever), which has never been available as an individual track, can still make me misty even when not playing Tetris.

Tetris Effect received a 9/10 in GameSpot's review of the PS4 version. "Tetris is just the beginning of Tetris Effect," reviewer Peter Brown wrote. "It provides the foundation for a complex emotional journey that defies expectations. Its a vector for meditation. It's a driving force that pushes you beyond your presumed limits. It is the definition of awesome."
