Right on schedule, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the first and second seasons of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead will arrive in October at retailers and digitally, it was announced today.
Both seasons will feature all five episodes, while the first season packs in the bonus episode, 400 Days. This installment tells the story of the first 400 days of the apocalypse from the perspective of multiple survivors.
In North America, The Walking Dead Season one will be available October 21 for Xbox One and PS4, while Season two will arrive on October 14.
Physical versions of The Walking Dead season two are also coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 21 (disc versions of the first season are already available), while a PlayStation Vita retail version of season two will launch November 4.
During Comic-Con this summer, Telltale confirmed that it's working on a third season of The Walking Dead. However, we don't know where and when it will take place, or when the first episode will be released.
Telltale is keeping busy. In addition to the third season of The Walking Dead, the developer is working on Tales from the Borderlands with Gearbox Software and a Game of Thrones project.
