Telltale Games has published a cryptic message on Twitter that could offer new insight into its highly anticipated Game of Thrones series.
Little is known about the upcoming episodic series of games based on George RR Martin's award-winning collection of novels, with no confirmed details on which aspect of the sprawling fictional world Telltale will set its story in.
However, on Saturday Telltale Games tweeted a quote from the latest Game of Thrones novel, A Dance with Dragons, which mentions the Forrester family name.
Telltale's excerpt from the book reads: "Trackers and hunters sworn to Deepwood with clan names such as Forrester and Woods, Branch and Bole. Game of Thrones, a Telltale Games series #IronFromIce".

The tweet suggests that Telltale's game will be based on the fifth book, which will likely be covered in the upcoming fifth season of the HBO television series.
House Forrester, which Telltale cites specifically in its excerpt, is a noble house from the wolfswood in the North with allegiances to the Starks.
In July last year, Telltale announced it had secured the rights to develop The Game of Thrones game. The studio has published several episodic series, and is best known for its work on The Walking Dead and Fables franchises.
