DC Studios boss and the writer-director of Superman Legacy, James Gunn, has shared a nice photo of the cast of the upcoming superhero film. Posted to Instagram, the photo shows the main cast of the film following a table read of the script.

According to Gunn, this was the first time the entire cast got together. The cast includes David Corenswet as Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. As you can see in image, Hoult is already sporting Luthor's shaved-head look.

The image also shows the actors Skylder Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen), Anthony Carrigan (Metamorpho), Nathan Fillion (Guy Gardner), Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), Edi Gathegi (Mister Terrific), Terence Rosemore (Otis), Maria Gabriela de Faria (Engineer), and more.

Gunn wrote the script for Superman Legacy but there is still no word on what the story will be. Filming is slated to begin in March, and there won't be a trailer until 2025. The movie is set to come to theaters in July 2025.

According to Brosnahan, everyone involved in the key creative decisions for Superman: Legacy is a "perfect nerd" for the material. "We all grew up watching the movies. Some of us were reading the comics. So I feel like it's being made with so much love. And I think this Superman will have a sense of humor," she said.

In other DC movie news, Gunn recently said he would love to work with Margot Robbie again on another DC project after the Australian actress suggested she might be finished with Harley.
