Stumble Guys, a popular mobile and PC game inspired by the whimsical battle royale game Fall Guys, is coming to console with cross-platform progression.

Revealed during the ID@Xbox Showcase, the console edition of Stumble Guys will come to Xbox first and other platforms later on. Pre-registration on StumbleGuys.com is open now for Xbox, and people can earn benefits like early beta access and digital gifts for signing up.

According to developer Scopely, Stumble Guys has tens of millions of players per week. The game launched after Fall Guys and became very popular in part because there wasn't, and still isn't, a mobile version of Fall Guys.

Anyone who already plays Stumble Guys on mobile will be able to carry their progression forward to the console edition when it launches. Cross-play, meanwhile, will be available after launch. This will allow mobile, console, and PC users to play together.

Stumble Guys was created by Kitka Games. Scopely acquired it in 2022 and is now the designer, operator, and publisher of the game.

Scopely was recently acquired by Savvy Games Group, a division of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, for $4.9 billion. That represented the sixth biggest acquisition in the history of video games.
