Capcom is airing a Street Fighter V Summer Update livestream on August 5 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. The broadcast will outline "the future of [Street Fighter V: Champion Edition" by delivering information on upcoming characters, esports news, and more.

It's unclear exactly how long the livestream will last or what exactly Capcom will discuss during it. However, the official SFV Twitter account confirmed that the presentation will include updates directly from the development team, as well as appearances by "special guests" who remain unnamed. The stream will be broadcasted on the Capcom Fighters Twitch account.

Back in May 2020, Capcom said Street Fighter V would receive five more fighters, bringing the total number of playable characters to 45 following the launch of the Champion Edition in February 2020. It's possible the company will talk about these five additional characters during the livestream and what we can expect from Season 5, which Capcom has labeled as Street Fighter V's final season.

Though July is almost over, this month's PlayStation Now games are still up for grabs. Among the three titles are Hello Neighbor, Street Fighter V, and Watch Dogs 2.
