Originally released in Japan in 1994, Street Fighter II: The Animated Film adapted the hit arcade game into a feature-length experience that starred almost the entire roster of the game. Focused primarily on Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, and Guile as they fought against M. Bison and his Shadaloo criminal organization, the film helped define the visual direction of Street Fighter for years to come, and elements of it can still be found in modern games in the franchise.

This was also a milestone for anime as it expanded further into the West, and if you remember VHS rental stores, there's a good chance that you saw an eye-catching poster for the movie in the corner of your local Blockbuster.

Speaking of classic anime, a re-release of the hard-to-find Cowboy Bebop steelbook edition is available for preorder at Walmart.
