Disney's next big Star Wars TV show, The Book of Boba Fett, will debut on December 29, the company has confirmed. It will air on Disney+, just like The Mandalorian.

Temuera Morrison plays Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen appears in the show as Fennec Shand. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Robert Rodriguez are executive producers on the Boba Fett show, which is set in the same timeline as The Mandalorian. You can see teaser art for the show below.

The Book of Boba Fett is just one of the many new Star Wars TV shows and movies in the works. Other upcoming series include Andor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ahsoka. On the movie side, Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins will helm a movie titled Rogue Squadron, while Rian Johnson is making a new Star Wars trilogy.

In other news, Disney will host what's being called Disney+ Day on Friday, November 12. It's described as a "global celebration" of Disney, and subscribers will get "new content releases" from Disney's many brands including Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. Among other things, Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will stream on Disney+ that day.
