THQ has today updated its product release schedule with news that Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, which is currently in development at Eurocom Entertainment, will ship on November 10 rather than in September. It was also revealed today that a previously unannounced Xbox version of the game will arrive in stores on the same day as the PS2 and GameCube versions.

"We are committed to publishing quality titles that offer a compelling game experience," said Brian J. Farrell, THQ's president and CEO. "We view Sphinx and Warhammer as important new products, and we believe the extra time is critical to ensuring the best possible product quality. In addition, we expect the concurrent launch of Sphinx on three consoles to maximize the title's potential."
