Sony Raises Shipment Projections

Sony has revised its worldwide shipment goals for the current PlayStation from 17 million to 18.5 million units. The number also shows a shipment decrease from Sony's 21.6 million units during March 1998-99. Total shipments for Sony's first console have hit 71.82 million units.
