Last year, Sony first tried its hand at virtual pinball with the Pinball Heroes collection, four tables based on PlayStation 3 games, available individually for $5 a pop. Today, the purveyor of all things PlayStation announced it is taking a second shot at pinball, this time with a new (and more wallet-friendly) approach.

As part of next week's Tuesday PlayStation Store update, Sony will launch Pinball Heroes Bundle 2. Priced at $10, the pack will include new tables based on four more Sony offerings: ModNation Racers, Fat Princess, Wipeout HD Fury, and MotorStorm. Like the original Pinball Heroes offerings, the bundle will include leaderboards and individual goals for every table, as well as the option to view the tables horizontally or vertically on the screen.

The ModNation table does not let players create their own tables, but they can alter its appearance.

The bundle pack of tables is fully compatible with the existing Pinball Heroes entries, so gamers who buy the new tables will be able to add the older ones to their game as DLC, and those with one of the older tables will be able to plug the new bundle into those titles. The original lineup of Pinball Heroes included tables based on Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Pain, High Velocity Bowling, and Hot Shots Golf.
