Sony may "monitor and record" all PSN activity on PlayStation 4

Now all the Sony Ponies will come and say "They are trying to PROTECT US unlike Microsoft !"

LOl at all the people who were bashing Microsoft for this. Extremely hilarious acutally. Not a fanboy but it is funny watching people try to talk another console down while the closer to the launch dates we get just more and more details come out making the console so much more alike.

if its just monitoring on what we do on PSN then there is no problem, since its common in any online based thing.

well they surely could do that in America which i find really a shameless thing....but surely not in Europe allowed....Privacy settings and laws here include NOT SPYING AND NOT GETTING INTO PERSONAL SPACE OR INFORMATION WITHOUT PROPPER PERMISSION......If they do that, we can freely file them, and im sure that will cost them a lot of problems. So, sony and microsof,, be careful with what you do.

i don't mind since i got nothing to hide but i understand why Sony is doing this to prepare for another Hack

They should'a waited 3 more days and just say it it like "We were hiding all our bad policies since the beggining. Deal with it now suckers !"

Honestly, this is nothing new. If you sign up for any online service, they monitor what they can. Only difference is MS made it obvious that they're using Kinect for data-mining. If Sony made PS Eye mandatory, no doubt they would use it the same way.

I like how they reveal this at the last minute.

Well I was about to say that this was since the first PS but it was mentioned in the article; BTW misleading title.

Meh fairly normal terms of service stuff. I'm not planning on doing anything I need kept private online while playing so I'm ok with this one as long as it used the way it seems to be intended to keep people from acting like jerks and cheating online. Of course they start selling any of this to Marketing Partners I'm not going to be impressed but thats not what this looks like.
