Various Sony executives speak out to congratulate competitor on recent launch of next-generation console.

Writing on Twitter, Sony President of Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida said, "Congratulations on the global launch of Xbox One" in a tweet directed at corporate vice presidents Phil Spencer and Phil Harrison, as well as Xbox Live director Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, and director of product planning Albert Penello.
Separately, Sony director of publisher and developer relations Adam Boyes said, "Congrats on YOUR launch, guys! See you at E3!!!" in a tweet sent to Hryb, Harrison, Penello, and Spencer.
Following the release of the PlayStation 4 last week, Microsoft executives congratulated Sony on their launch over social media.
It wasn't all pleasant from Sony, however, as a since-removed Facebook update yesterday reportedly said, "Why settle for 720p when almost every PS4 games supports full native 1080p." This update, of course, is referencing games like Call of Duty: Ghosts and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag not running at the highest possible native resolution on the Xbox One.
