Sony Online Entertainment today announced two new games, Frantix and GripShift, for the PlayStation Portable. Both are expected to hit store shelves this fall.

Frantix is a "character-based 3D puzzle-solving adventure." The game features more than 150 levels, a multitude of monsters, and deadly traps. It is being developed by Killer Game, which has been working on the project since 2003.

GripShift features over-the-top racing with customizable vehicles. Racers will tear through more than 100 levels, performing stunts and collecting power-ups. The game will support wireless play for up to four gamers. GripShift is being developed by Sidhe Interactive, which previously worked on Rugby League.

Frantix and GripShift will be on display at next week's Electronic Entertainment Expo. Be sure to check back with GameSpot for more information on both games.
