The unstoppable duo of rapper Snoop Dogg and TV personality Martha Stewart will be reteaming to both host and coach The Puppy Bowl, according to Entertainment Weekly. Puppy Bowl XVIII will debut on Discovery+ and Animal Planet on February 13 at 2 PM ET, and the event is intended to raise awareness for pet adoption nationwide.

Snoop and Stewart hosted last year's Puppy Bowl, though in 2022 the pair will pull double-duty by "lead[ing] training sessions, run[ning] drills, and provid[ing] motivation and encouragement" to the 118 puppy athletes participating from 67 shelters across the country. Snoop is also slated to perform at Super Bowl LVI with Dr. Dre and Eminem.

The oddly perfect pairing of personalities has proven to provide a reliably charming chemistry since Snoop guested on Martha's talk show in 2008. In a 2016 Rolling Stone article, Snoop described the friendship that had blossomed since as "a natural combination of love, peace, and harmony." According to Mashed, Stewart once said of Snoop, "He really is an attractive human being… Everybody likes him."

You can learn much more about their friendship at the above Mashed article, including how they complement each other's skills as performers, whether Snoop is a good cook (spoiler alert: he is), and the pair's plans to someday write a cookbook together.
